Taft Avenue Station is the first of the 13 stations in the MRT-3 line. It’s connected to the LRT-1 line through Edsa Station as well as one of its entrances being connected to the Metro Point Mall. There are two elevators that connect from the ground floor to the station should the mall be closed, but only one is an entrance to the station. The elevators are accompanied by their respective ramps and past the turnstiles are two stairwells down to the platforms. There are no elevators and this station is being flagged as one of the two in the MRT-3 lines for having no continuity for wheelchair dependent people. The station has the following MRT-3 standards in terms of accessibility with a designated waiting zone north of the platform, high-contrast signage colors, staff that are equipped to assist you in boarding, and audio announcements through megaphones.
