For People With Disabilities
We do this for the PWDs, Persons with Disabilities, because we believe they deserve to live in a world that is welcoming, inclusive, and accommodating to their needs. Many public spaces, including train stations, are not always designed with accessibility in mind, especially older stations that were built before accessibility became a priority. This makes everyday travel difficult and sometimes unsafe for those who rely on wheelchairs, crutches, or walking canes. By focusing on this issue, our project aims to raise awareness and provide helpful, reliable information that supports individuals with mobility challenges.
Our website also compiles articles and detailed insights about train stations and their level of PWD accessibility, while encouraging improvements so that everyone, regardless of physical ability, can move freely and with dignity.
For Our Family
We also do this for our families, because many of us have loved ones who live with mobility challenges or develop them over time. Some are born with conditions that affect their movement, while others grow older and begin to rely on crutches, walking canes, or wheelchairs. Aging can make simple tasks more physically demanding, and too much strain, like climbing stairs or walking long distances, can be painful or unsafe. This project is for our mothers and fathers, our lolos and lolas, and every family member who needs a little extra care. By making accessibility clearer and more available, we hope to make everyday travel easier, safer, and more comfortable, while helping families be better prepared and more knowledgeable about the train stations they use.
